Welcome to PhotoColors support. If you have a question or run into an issue, this page should help.
Why does the app ask for access to my photos?
PhotoColors needs read access to your photo library to select media, and write access to save your creations. All image analysis is performed entirely on your device.
How many colors does the app extract?
PhotoColors extracts the most representative colors to create a harmonious palette.
Does the app upload my photos anywhere?
No. Your photos never leave your device. All image processing is local. The app only connects to the internet to send anonymized diagnostic logs (telemetry) to help us fix bugs and improve performance.
Where is the saved image stored?
The result is saved directly to your Photos library in the Recents album.
Does PhotoColors have ads or in-app purchases?
PhotoColors does not contain third-party advertisements. We offer a PhotoColors Pro subscription to unlock premium features and unlimited usage in certain modes.
How do I restore my Pro subscription?
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, open the Settings, tap the Upgrade to Pro button to enter the subscription page, and select Restore. This will reactivate your Pro status without extra charges.
What iOS version is required?
PhotoColors requires iOS 16.0 or later.
